Due to potential inclement weather forecasted for Sioux Falls, S.D., on Saturday, the schedule for the 2008 NCC Outdoor Track and Field Championships has been revised. There will be no preliminary events. All events will be FINALS.

Sunday, March 16 NCC Indoor Track Teams Bring Home Three Top-10 Finishes and Three Individual Championships at NCAA Meet
North Central Conference Indoor Track & Field teams claimed three top-10 finishes at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. The NCC teams were paced by the Minnesota State men in seventh place and the South Dakota women in sixth place. NCC student-athletes also claimed three individual event championships.

The NCC Commisssioners Academic Honor Roll for indoor track & field has been compiled and 137 student-athletes have acheived the honor. To qualify student-athletes must have a minimum 3.20 grade point average, have completed at least two semesters at their current school and have competed against outside competition.

It all came down to the last race on the mens side as South Dakota outdistanced Minnesota State by less than a second in the 4x400 relay to capture the North Central Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship.
